Hey makeup lovers! Gather 'round because I've got the scoop on the most epic wedding glam I had the pleasure of doing in Sydney. Our stars of the day? The super fabulous Jade, marrying her love Blair, surrounded by four bridesmaids rocking soft yellow dresses! 🌟
Love in the Air
Jade and Blair's love story is straight out of a rom-com, filled with laughter and love. The couple had planned to have the wedding a few years ago, but Covid lockdowns and pregnancies disrupted their original plans, so they wed at the courthouse and planned the wedding celebration once things had settled down!
When Jade strutted into my place for her trial, you could practically feel the excitement in the air. Little did we know, we were about to create some serious wedding magic! We had a play with some warm tones and came up with a gorgeous soft glam for her wedding day. The final wedding look was ever so slightly different, with Jade deciding she wanted a bit more of a pronounced smoked-out brown liner on the day.
Jade's Sydney Wedding Makeup
Jade wanted that timeless glam, something that would make her look like a queen without overshadowing her infectious smile. Picture this: flawless skin, a hint of peachy blush, and eyes that could captivate Blair from across the room. Topping it off with a nude lip, Jade was ready to stun in her gorgeous gown!
Bridesmaids' Squad Goals
Hold up – four bridesmaids in soft yellow dresses? Yes, please! We wanted each babe to shine in her own way, so each bridesmaid chose her own hairstyle and makeup look. The girls went for soft, neutral vibes to complement the dreamy yellow hues. Their eye makeup was all about warm tones and a dash of glam, making them the ultimate squad goals.
Jade's sister's best friend is also a makeup artist, so she did Jade's sisters (they're the blonde bridesmaids) and mum Julie's makeup.
Hens Party Extravaganza
But wait, there's more! Before the big day, I had the pleasure of glamming up Jade for her hens party, and let me tell you, it was a riot of colour and sparkle! We went for a pop of magenta pink on the eyes to match her killer pink cowboy boots, finishing the look with a sprinkle of diamantes for that extra wow factor. I also styled Jade's hair, giving her beachy mermaid waves that looked great with her Bride cowboy hat. Jade was the life of the party and those eyes? Talk about a statement!
The Big Day Unleashed
Fast forward to the big day – Jade, Blair, and the whole crew getting ready for the ceremony. Shoutout to Twelve Eleven for capturing every tear, laugh, and dance move.
