You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I love a challenge! So when Ben contacted me about doing a Mad Hatter Makeup fro him to attend a 4 year old's Disney themed birthday, I was excited, to say the least!

After some research (thank you Pinterest!), I was ready to tackle this fun makeup.

I used a combination of Kryolan body paint and coloured eyeshadow to recreate the Mad Hatter's skin and colourful eyes.

The eyebrows were created by cutting some hair from the back of the Mad Hatter wig and applying it to Ben's eyebrows using DUO glue and blending with orange eyeshadow.

I used Gel Sealant and white eyeshadow to paint on the eyelash strokes below the eyes, on the top eyelashes as mascara, and along the top lashline. The look in the movie is quite unrefined, so I did the same, as you can see below.

It appears the look was a hit, with Roxy Jacenko posting a photo of her posing with the Mad Hatter at the party on her Instagram account!

If you're attending a costume party and want to step it up a notch like Ben did with some professional makeup, get in touch! I'd love to help you create a memorable look!
